COVID-19 Info

With Hawaii being an isolated island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, we are subject to ongoing COVID travel restrictions. Please read on for VERY IMPORTANT information regarding safely traveling to Hawaii for the 21st Annual Hawaii International Conference on Education.

Note that State of Hawaii rules/restrictions are subject to change, so we implore you to keep up to date by visiting the State of Hawaii Safe Travels website here. The Safe Travels website is the only official source of information regarding restrictions.

CURRENTLY, to enter the State of Hawaii (without having to self-quarantine for 10 days), Trans-Pacific travelers must either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (vaccination must have been completed WITHIN THE UNITED STATES), OR submit to an Approved Pre-Travel Testing Program.

For FAQ's about the Vaccine Exemption Program (for potential attendees that are/were fully vaccinated WITHIN THE UNITED STATES), click here.

For FAQ's about the Pre-Travel Testing Program, (for potential attendees that were/are fully vaccinated OUTSIDE of THE UNITED STATES, or those who are not vaccinated and won't be fully vaccinated by the conference dates), click here.
